That is just crazy cold. Supposed to be in the teens here, that's cold enough for us.

 

 

Temp down here is in the 40's but back to the 60's tomorrow!

Probably someone who answered the complaint lines when the last storm hit,- earlier this week. They were talking about parking on the street during a snow emergency.

People park on both sides in a lot of subdivisions around here. Plows then have to just run right down the center of the road and create two big windrows at each end of the blade, - trapping vehicles between the row and curb. Then they call and complain.

Plowing down the center of sub roads also wears the blades cutting edge down in the center. Edges get burned up quick. Also, doing that cuts the asphalt crown from 2% to nothingness, - flat w/sub-grade gravel showing in spots, and promotes chuck hole development.

Costs everyone a bunch a cash, -even the home-moaners.

Glad to see someone getting upset about it. - After all, it's just Stupid people saying , -I'm not moving my damn car..

 

Mmm yeah, you northern guys can keep your snow and ice! I'll stick with my 100* summers. In Utah right now and the damn fwd rental van couldn't get up the road the house in on without 20 minutes of throwing gravel, ain't lookin to do that again any time soon.

I love people who b*tch about things that they cause themselves, but don't do anything to change.
