Wife and kids plus BIL+SIL took off this morning to Rapid City leaving me to babysit the ONCALL phone....sux being oncall during Christmas....

Sorry you are on call. Because of the work I'm doing we can't go to the kids till this afternoon. First time we have missed Christmas morning since the grand kids started coming. All because Christmas came on Wed.

An oversight by the management at my company....it sux...life goes on
wont happen next year...spent yesterday afternoon and last night with them.

its amazing that if one kept track of how many hours are put into shopping for gifts that my kids were done opening presents in 15 minutes....lol

Merry Christmas everyone!

I have a quick question and didnt see a point of starting a new thread. I got the sct tuner with custom tunes, Right now im running the canned 87 tune and just filled up with 23 gallon's on Chevron 92 Octane. Is it possible i can try the canned 93 tune running 92 octane? Doesnt seem like 1 octane point would make a big difference.

 

Is there not a canned 91 that you could run? Otherwise, you can back off the timing, that is, if the SCT is like the Gryphon. I think you backed off 2 points for each octane. Shoot, that EB is supposed to be so tough, what's a little per detonation?

1 octane point ain't going to make that big of deal.....but what size is the gas tank??? canned tunes are a bit more forgiving and conservative than custom tunes...imo

rule of thumb before switching up in octane in the tunes is change tunes on the 2nd tank of the tune you'd like to run....
