id give him a grand just because it's an L, but it's going to need everything cab forward id be willing to bet. He may have gotten lucky and not burned the seats.
I wouldn't even consider buying that it's going to need a new chassis, cab, dash, interior, motor, and drivetrain plus a new wiring harness. The cab and chassis both lost all structural integrity because of the heat from the fire and you'll never get the smoke smell out of the upholstery.

It burned hot enough to start the left front tire on fire plus any flammable fluids ran down under the truck and burned so I would say the chassis is toast. I wouldn't trust my life or my families life in any vehicle that's seen an engine fire because the nature of engine fires are they burn hot and fast both of those factors will change the temperament of any structural steel.
