Let's start over......
I'm welcoming the rain, and the cooler temps that came with it. We're actually on flood watch. It's pretty bad how little rain we've received recently. Lake Travis in Austin is absurdly low too, along with the rest of the Colorado river "lakes" that aren't controlled.
Never will understand having all that lift in the front, only to leave the rear 4" lower

Platinum F250s are kind of stupid IMO. Having a pretty boy half ton is one thing, but an overpriced, pretty boy 1 ton diesel? At least with a King Ranch, you can see what you're paying for. I like the KRs and the Lariats, but XLT is still best bang for buck.
Michael, I wouldn't doubt. And it isn't even on its way back up, it's pretty much still getting worse. My family used to have a house on (not on on, but close to the lake) Travis, and the water become a problem about the same time the economy went to crap. Real estate there has hit hell and houses sit and sit and sit on the market. My parents are so glad they were able to sell the house before the water got LOW. Every time we go up to Austin, we make stops and check the boat ramp and the marina. Even two years ago, I could walk straight across the inlet where the ramp was. That has to have be 30-40 feet worth. The poor marina is sitting on a trickle of water and no one can get their boats out.

Got a string of landscape lights out. The timer or clock is still humming so there has to be power to the transformer. About the only thing it can be is a bad transformer, right?

Fastest way to find the problem, plug it in, make the timer is the correct position, = on. Take a little 5 or 10 dolla AC voltage det. They're 600V 120/240AC CAT III.
Cheap little guy that senses where the circuit goes dead without poking thru the insulation. In fact, it no touch. You don't have touch anything for sirens bells and whistles to begin playing a tune, just get close (easier just follow your wire string, holding against) and it'll sense where voltage stops.
Keep in mind, not all those strings have a bypass. That means they will not function any further than a bad bulb. Soo, yea.
