Got my 09 mirrors delivered today. One was broken - One stud broken off and one cap was broken. Insured for $400 so we'll see what happens.

Are you an unlucky person? Seems like a lot of crap has happened to you and that truck lately. No fault of your own really, just crap, to do with the truck.

Maybe you or it was cursed?

Not cursed, but hopefully I'll come out ahead on the deal considering how much insurance value was purchased by the seller. He's not too happy the one got damaged.

The mirror stud can I think be repaired by this old aircrafter. The cap will have to be replaced. I may just buy two black painted ones from Ford.

Stealth, that plastic glues together real good with baking soda on one part and super glue on the other. I have fixed Skilsaw handles like that.

Sweet. May try that. And I can get a hold of some good adhesive to adhere and build up and surround the entire broken section. I wont reveal my source. lol

I use to do it that way, - until Permatex finally put out a plastic glue product that hasn't been matched. I can't be without it, I'm always breaking stuff
