Let's start over......
i found another ride... not sure if its a safe buy though... But 120k and a bigger motor seems a little better... the only issues i see are as follows. 1. it had front end damage and someone swapped a 97-98 front end and hood on and didnt bother to have it painted. 2. the muffler was lopped out and replaced by a pipe long enough to fit, but here is the plus to that, it is held up by 14g wire not mounts, 14g fence wire... Those 2 things make me wonder how the powertrain was maintained... The interior was beautiful though. no rips, tears, but there are a few blemishes on the drivers side leather. oh, its got buckets.
ill try the dealerships site and post a photo. Its like a really really dark burgundy, but more brown than red...

i crawled around under it and all seemed fine minus a crap ton of surface rust. they let me start it, all sounded fine, minus a leak at the cobbled in pipe. i pulled the dipstick and the oil was BLACK, but you get that with repeated heat and cool cycles. i did not pay attention to the oil filter though... tranny fluid doesn't smell burnt.

none, i was looking at it during college break and looked at the time and had to scoot before i got in trouble with the school. ill try and get some friday when im back in that area. Like i said it needs the hood painted, and a 99+front end swapped back on, but the 97-98 will do for the time being.
Morning.
Hopefully in the next couple weeks my truck goes in to have the head gaskets fixed as well as adding a regulated fuel return and rebuilding the oil cooler since it's never been done. I can't wait to get back to driving my truck.

Upgrading the head studs at the same time?
I forgot to put that in there, yes I'm upgrading to the ARP Head Studs with Black Onyx gaskets and I may upgrade all the intercooler boots and clamps while it's apart since the trucks got 175k on it and they are the original boots and clamps with the exception of one clamp.
