Up to 70 mph wind and lot's of rain but we had no flooding like a lot down here had. The actual center of the storm passed right over us. Lot's of tree branches down and yard's a mess. Lucky my Grandson is here to help, going back in the yard before it rain's again.

Glad you had no more damage than that.

Yep, we were lucky. Some people not too far from us got 8 feet of water or more. Branches are easy to clean up. Grandson slept late and now he's ready to work so I can't miss that opportunity!!

Thank's guy's, got all of the big branches pulled down and out to the street with my ATV. The winch did a good job of pulling one off of my utility trailer which I hooked up later to the ATV to load the smaller branches into. Buddy of mine came over this evening and loaded up a 17k generator into his truck to use at his home where electricity may be out for another week. Working in 90 degree heat and lot's of humidity along with about a billion lovebugs flying around is no fun either!! Where I lived in Plaquemines Parish got hit pretty hard with real bad flooding so I thank God all we got was a little mess in the yard. Next job is the camp at Grand Isle to clean up but we can't get there untill the road is repaired.
