Morning. Getting used to this time zone again is not going so well I woke up at 6:15 again instead of 5:15.

Sorry to hear your tools went missing. It really irks me when people don't understand that you make your living with those tools and with out them you can't work. Although people that do things like that don't give a flying fart about much of anything and karma's a bitch.......

Had the oil changed at the dealer. At the last oil change, I asked about the cost of an air filter, if I needed one, and was told that it was about $25 with no labor charge. This time, had to deal with a different service writer and he calls, says I need an air filter. I said fine, put it on. I go to pick up the truck and the bill was high, so I look down the list. They charged me $29 for the filter and $29 for labor. I looked at him and said, well, that's the last one you sell me. It takes 2 minutes, I'll do my own from now on. He said, not a problem, he would remove the labor. Most people would pay that, not a clue what is involved.

Release a couple of clips on the air box cover....pretty simple....not as bad as the round older style....

That $29 labor is probably more for the cost of storing on a shelf than anything else...

Morning everyone

Jim, that is ridiculous to charge $29 for labor on a filter change. take 5 seconds to do while you wait for the oil can to empty through the funnel...stealerships...
