It's an 89 AND it's fuel injected It has just shy of 89,000 miles on it. I've seen people with 200,000-350,000 miles on the original motor/tranny. If it will last me 5 more years I'd be happy.

Wow, a buddy of mine had an 89 Mercury Tracer, I think its the same car. It had the same mileage yours has. It was a reddish maroon color. Peppy little thing. You should be good to go for the time frame that your gonna keep it.

I am actually surprised how much get up and go it has. At 55mph it's at 3000RPM's so being the high revver that it is it should move fairly well.

Had to do brakes on the girlfreinds honda civic last nite and both calipers were frozen on the slides. So needles to say i didnt finish as it was about 10:00 when i got them freed up and i didnt even have the rubber boots for the slides.

so now she has my truck and i got to walk to work
