I did not word that well. Since I am not wanting to cocealed carry, just for plinking and have in the house, she thought the 17 would be better balanced in my hand. I have large hands and the longer barrel would be better balanced. I have not held a 17, only a 19, so I need to compare.

I've moved on and sold all my glocks......I have SIGS and S+Ws now for pistols.....

I considered that S&W Bodyguard a member had forsale. A revolver would be fine, it just seemed too small for what I want. Would make a great concealed carry weapon.
