Just got an EB dropped off here at the shop. Heavy front end hit. The person who dropped it off is a foreman/supervisor. He just makes short trips out from the office to check on the guys in the field every now and then. Also he only lives a few miles from the office. Has about 15k on the truck and he says he hasnt gotten above 15 MPG.

Something else interesting he told me as well. He said after he had rear ended the other car maybe a few seconds after the impact the air bag deployed. The weird thing is he said it wasnt what he expected. He said it sound like little "pop" and the bag just kinda flopped out and half inflated. Kinda scary.

Took a ride to Grand Isle this morning to check on the camp and got to travel on this new section of LA.1 from Leeville to Port Fourchon, La. I went to the ribbon cutting last Friday but it didn't open untill yesterday. Nice ride on an almost 80 degree day. Good to be retired!

I know i get scared seeing someone driving a rig towing 60k lbs talking on their phone.... Its one thing in a 4,000 lb car, can't do a whole lot of damage, but in a 70k rig its deadly
