Yep, and i stayed till the bloddy end! About 3 in the morning. That must have been about 1966 or 1967.

 

Those movies drive me crazy. I mean they aren't bad movies but the lack of dialog drives me batty....talk dammit!!

 

I want to watch Lonesome Dove again, it's my alltime favorite. It and American Grafitti(could have been the story of my high school days). But. LD is soooo long. Guess I could break it up over 4 nights.

I love American graffeti. I have my eye on a 32 ford coupe as a matter of fact. Ol John Milner. Too bad its not still like that today. I love dazed and confused too

 

Yep! Some guy found the coupe and the 55 Chevy at MGM. Restored them and made the car show circuit. Hard to believe that was Harrison Ford's debut. I really get into that movie. Maybe you're alright after all, John!

 

 

Rose, been reading any lately? I am about through with a thick one by ken Follett, World Without End. It's the last of a series he wrote, 1014 pages.

Always. Not a day goes by that I don't read at least a few pages of the current book. Right now it's "The Rule of Four" - Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. It's a bit hard to wade through but not a bad book. I just finished Mary Higgins Clark's newest book "Where are You Now?" and "The Man-Eaters of Tsavo" - Lt. Colonel J.H. Patterson. It's about the Tsavo lions that the movie "Ghost and the Darkness" was about.

 

Yeah, I'v seen some of your pics. I got into the car stuff pretty big back in the 80s. Bought a small wrecking yard in Abilene which became the hangout for all the Ford guys. I built a 54 and 56 F100, 6 Mustangs, a Boss 302, and a 67 Shelby, and a 65 Galaxy 2 door hardtop. Bought and sold several more.
