Time to watch the game, eat, and drink a couple of ice cold brews.

Sounds like a plan! I just watched Thunder Road with Robert Mitchum. That movie is 50years old! Made in 1958. I remember going to the drive-in theater where my buddy worked three nights in a row to watch it! That was in 1959!

What happened to drive-in theaters anyway? I loved drive-ins! We used to go a lot when I was growing up, last drive-in I went to was in Oakland, CA about 20 years ago. Now they're almost gone

Been gone around here for years.

My buddy sold tickets and would check cars to see if people were sneaking in in the truncks of the cars. I would go hang out there during the summer my junior and senior years.

After he closed the ticket booth, we would park near the exit. There was always someone trying to sneak in the exit. We would have to chase them out.

It's a damn shame, they are a part of our history and they've been bulldozed into parking lots or mini-malls

I agree. I remember when I was in college, we went to one in Abilene, saw three Clint Eastwood westerns all in one night. Bet you can guess the three!
