Last we heard late last night he is responsive, has a breathing tube so he can't speak, they postponed the surgery to close up the shoulder until today due to the number of other surgeries that other people needed before him.
His "friend" has changed his story several times, at first his "friend" was driving, then he said he wasnt driving and Zach was, now his "friend" is saying he wasnt even in the SUV when it flipped and Zach was driving, even though the SUV belonged to the "friend" Seems like he's trying to skate out of legal trouble, and put the blame on Zach who is lying in the hospital.
His parents, especially his dad are having a really hard time coping with the loss of his arm. I dont know that Zach knows about it yet

It might take a while but your cousin should be able to do everything as well as he could before with both arms. It's amazing how people can adjust/overcome something like that.
