I don't have time to look for one plus I would rather take my chances with mine rather than a used one I know nothing about.

but a low mileage 08 would still be in factory warranty. not really taking as much of a risk

I have lived with the threat and warnings about injectors and cam phasers for a long time. I have 131,000 on it. The service manager at the dealer told me that if the injectors had not failed by now, they were not going to.

What if it burned a quart of oil every 1500 miles? I hate a vehicle that burns oil.

That's another thing, it has to be black.

Would you get the 5.0 or the Ecoboost. I have not driven either, but I just have a hard time accepting a V6. Plus, it remains to be seen how durable that setup is.

I used to race a guy every weekend that had an 87 Grand national. He would jump me off the line so bad you would think there would be no way, but about 2/3 thru the 1/4 I would pass him and start pulling away. He would just run out of engine on the top end.

tough call, 5.0 would be more like what you're used to but the E.B. would probably be better for highway commutes.

My personal favorite is the 6.2
