My point exactly Pat.

If the front 02's fail, you have no way of knowing it seems if the rears are shut off. If you are running rich, exhuast leak, etc then there would be no P0420/P0430, correct? Or say in Will's case, what if he had an exhaust leak and had the rear sensors shut off? He wouldn't really know, right? I get how they work, but it seems to me they are there for a reason and should be left alone so you can make sure your exhuast is healthy

Got everything out of the house, im going to stay on the deck with my favorite set of water wings and trusty Bud Light and watch them build the dike behind my house hopefully they get it done in time...

If the front 02s fail then you get a P0053, P0059, PO131, PO132, PO133, PO134, PO135, PO150, PO151, PO152, PO153, PO154, PO155 as well as your normal PO170, PO171, PO172, PO173, PO174, PO175

IDK what is so complicated about it, again the fronts are the main sensors, if they fail or get bad readings they throw codes, and can throw lots of codes. Rears only monitor cat efficiency, thats all.....
