If you don't lock your door, you don't need a key.

The last time I did that my friend almost got a bullet hole to show for it when he stumbled in my back door drunk and unannounced and 11:30 at night.

The only time my BIL locks his doors is if he is going to be gone more than a couple of days. Everyone he knows, knows this and comes and goes as they need to. He's never lost a thing. Of course, when you go in his front door, the first thing you see is two shot guns propped up on the back of the couch. He has a rep and people don't mess with him or his stuff.

I think I have that reputation in our neigborhood because everyone else had had something happed to a vehicle or garage and ours has always been untouched unless you count the time that some kids tried to steal the badges of my truck. We always lock the house doors just because of the foot traffic in front of our house when my wife is home alone.

Jim just uses his "guns" he conceals under his sleeves

At work last night on campus, I saw a 1993ish Ranger with a single big black stack in the bed. It sounds like the 2.0 4cyl engine too. Sounded like dog doo doo. Good thing the kid graduated

Ditch em, it's the best mod I did for my truck other than shaving the badges.
