What's up?

After reading thread after thread after thread I've decided I am doing the plugs myself. I'm pretty sure I got it down and pretty confident it'll go smoothly. Monday I'm going to order the Lisle tool, spark plug socket and Nickel Antiseize off of Amazon for $105 then go to Advance and get the MC Spark Plugs and in 1500 miles I'll be ready.

Ya I'm gonna stock up on the Techron pretty soon

That Ralph guy got me all worked up Will and Randall!

I never had a problem doin anything to my old truck. Tore the motor out to put the new oil pan in, tore the exhaust manifolds off and put gaskets on to fix the exhaust leak, ball joints, shocks ect. Whatever went wrong I fixed it myself. For some reason I don't want to touch this truck. Not real sure why but it makes me nervous.

Just run fuel with Techron like I do. Theoretically my plugs should be clean, but I'm still nervous about changing them, even though they've already been changed once. I think I'm at around 70,000 miles on them and the truck still runs like a top.

Mine runs great too and I'm at 116,500 right now. Since it's gotten a little warmer out I've been getting 16-17 mpg where before I was getting 14-15. Highway I get 19. I just want to change them before it becomes a problem.

When I cleaned my TB it wasn't that bad at all. I hope that's an indicatioin there's not a lot of carbon built up in the heads!

I'd have to get a hold of one of those electric 3/8 impacts before I did mine. I just feel that's the way to go.

Thanks Dave.

I'm thinking the same thing too Stealth. Just not too sure how it'd work getting it in the 2 back plugs.
