Looking at that road sign, I would sure be hoping my destination was Alexandria!

 

From that sign I've got 60 to go west and then turn and go 80 north.....right into the big snow fall area and blizzard warning.....some areas up that way got 15"+ snow....

 

That looks like fun.

 

We had a crazy windy snow storm Friday night, my hard hat blew off 3 times and had to chase it across the battery . I ended up having to put it backwards so it wouldnt catch so bad

With my full face respirator the beak of the hat sits up a bit more than usual. felt like a fool chasing it
We didnt get alot of snow, but the wind made it seem like we were. There is a set of heavy steel doors where we fill the machines up with coal, I dont think they left 45 degrees all night

 

Made it.....240 miles in 4 hours....not that bad....
I did have some south bound idiots to deal with when going north....their lane was drifting in on a two laner....so where were they driving?....in my lane..

 

3 or 4 hours of sleep is just not cutting it today I could really use a nap right now.

I got that the other night... fell asleep after 11, up at 3:45 work work at 5am

 

Just ask my wife what I am like when I don't get enough sleep. Lets just say I am not exactly the most sociable person to be around.

 

John I used to be able to do that seven days a weeks when I was in my 20's. Now............not so much.

 

I'm always my same sweet self, lots of sleep or not.
