Truck runs awesome. Taking my dad's advice to keep it stock for about a month. I'll put my Gryphon in as a display but won't tune the truck. I'm not even putting the snorkel back to the DWV at this point. It does say on the bill that the converter may need to be replaced due to an engine skip? Is that valid or should I not worry about it. I don't know what that means.

i paid 560.48 btw, and my dad gave me 600, so I owe him that. At least the truck is running good again.

There's a whole lot of overhead+equipment and training that is always forgotten by the customer when they see their bill.

I read a post by Quinton once about some of stuff the dealers have to buy and what they have to do to be certified by the manufacturer.....its nuts.....and oil changes won't pay for it either...

I hear ya on that man... just stinks to pay it sometimes. After getting screwed this time though, I'm most likely to just keep going to the Ford dealer for this stuff. I can't trust many people with my truck again after this. I'm going to make a thread in the next few days about this to warn some other members in my area.

yah our dealership recently bought an almost $20,000 tire machine, and doing tire swaps wont cover the cost of this machine any time soon
