Today I talked to the only neighbor that introduced himself to us when we moved in and he said all the prior tenants never watered the yard, and he's lived in his house for 5 years. Funny because this house has a sprinkler system. Landlord is sending a sprinkler guy to repair the cut wires so all the stations will work. Right now only one section works.

I've been living in my house since April and haven't had any neighbors come introduce themselves. They'll wave if I'm driving by or out in the yard, but that's about it.

Yeah, in the ground is wire that actuates the valves for that section. The wires are run from the control box to the valves. Some dipwad was digging around in the backyard at some point I guess and sliced the wires. Pretty dumb.

Just picked the dog up from the vet from getting spayed. I tried getting them to send some sedation home with me but that was a no go It took 25 mins to get her in the house because she did NOT want to walk. She'll whine a little bit every now and then not sure if it's from pain or still kind of being out of it. I feel bad for her but I'm glad it's done.
