That college is so fuked up. Two profs didn't have their contracts renewed, the dept. head stepped down for mishandling it, the dean stepped down for sending **** emails on his university account and now this kid is claiming crazy ****.

I don't even know why the college exists at the university, these people become social workers ... isn't that pretty much just an associates degree kinda thing?
Recently, our "here forever" president (he came in 2005 when I got here) left to become chancellor at LSU. Our even-more-recently appointed interim president stepped down for reasons I can't recall.

I can't wait to get out of this stupid university. Hell, UNM in ABQ would be better than this I think.

Being a licensed social worker, I can tell you that to even enter into private social work practice, you must at least have a master's degree and that a doctorate is preferred - at least in Texas. To work under the supervision of a clinical social worker, you must have at least a bachelor's degree.
