That is pretty much what has happened here today.

 

Well actually they told us yesterday we didn't have to come in today (unpaid) and the absence would not count against our attendance program, so I told my stupidviser that I wasn't coming in. Then I checked online this morning on the company site and my vacation/sick leave came in today, so I called my stupidviser this morning and told him to put in 8 hours for me so I still get paid.

 

That's what they told us for tomorrow, but,I'm coming in for the 5 hours and free food.

Why did I have to say free food? Jim will be now.

 

A breakfast will be hard to make. hhmmm Let's see, you are an hour from Shreveport? That would be almost 5 hours from me. I could pick up Pam on the way and we could be there. What time?

 

That is the same distance I will be driving tomorrow night to get to my daughter's. Almost 5 hours, in South Texas.
