While your goofing off, wish I could get the truck over there and get the front end aligned.

11am is linchtime here. Shift starts at 7am, so 4 hours later it's linchtime. That's when I eat linch. Linch is 45 minutes. 4 hours after linch is over I go home.

Hey Pat, did you work at Target during college? I was trying to set-up my availability for school and one of the senior team leads was not happy. I wanted to work until 10pm latest monday -thursday (on the days they scheduled me those days) She gave me crap about it. I am going to talk to my boss about it and see if a little later would be better. It is annoying tho because I have 5 classes and they are all morning ( 3 mon, wed, fri and 2 tues, thurs). Did you experience this?

yes and it only gets worse through christmas when they stay open till 11pm

All though my first job ever was at Kohls, and they stay open until 12am (Midnight) every day of the week through christmas season

So target was refreshing for me but ive always been a night owl.

I see... I think I can prolly stay until 11 during the holiday season or maybe even 1130, but any later I will have trouble getting up for school. We lost our best worker because he transferred and we lost another one, both of whom stayed each night. This store is getting messed up. I just want to get through college and the get the heck out of there. I wish I could do something truck related

yea just save as you can for the truck, believe me its not easy. What i like to do when im saving money for something big, is save extra cash and store it in my desk, that way when i check my banking account i wont touch the money i have saved.

As far as the hours, just deal with it. I didnt get out of class until 5pm so i couldnt work until 6pm most week nights, so i would only end up with 3 or 4 hours on a regular non Xmas weeknight. Barely worth it by the time you buy the gas to drive out there and work 3 hours and get paid 16 bucks after taxes, so the extra hours were always appreciated.

Besides you can always sleep in class

Yeah Iguess that's what I'll have to do. I hate it, but I'm not gonna gave much of a life... never really did through hs either I'll just think about wheels/tires in the spring and use that as my motivation.
