john, I honestly don't think it's a matter of power over the other, I think they both ahve the same sofware


I have Mike Troyer tuning my green truck (he's the only one that can via e-mail)
Justin @VMP tuned the expy and after tweaking with the shifts it's pretty solid and gets great mileage

 

THat intersting to hear... I think the tuner will be a great investment for my truck. It should improve the truck even more and hopefully increase mpg's.

Sppeaking of tuners. I have yet to completly get mine right. I have the edge and it give me issues not related to the software. Stays on when I shut the truck off (not a lot but happens) and then it sometime let's the engine bouce off the rev limiter if I mess with the shift settings. (I know the rules about the points) it seems mainly when I adjust the non-wot shift points. I need a gryphon with custom tunes or get some dyno time with a good tuner. Isn't bill going to be in so-cal this month? Wonder if he can convert my edge and tune the truck at that time. Need to email them, and hope for a reply this year. Good night fellas
