LOL.... I don't wanna scare you, but you'd maybe be saving 20-30lbs of frame weight. How tall are the frames? 8"? Standard C8 (8" tall) channel weighs 11.5lbs per foot, is .220" thick, and 2.260" wide. I know for sure that frames aren't a quarter inch thick...
