I've done seal replacement on worm gearboxes before at a place I used to work at, basically the same philosophy. Input shaft, pinion, bearings, seals, worm gear, output shaft. Rebuilt them as well.

Excellent chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravey, fried okra, and homemade yeast rolls with tea. Man, that was SOME good!

Slide hammer for the bearing, 90* pry bar for the seal. Big bucket for the fluid.
I'm going to monitor the leak. It's not reaching the ground as of yet. Just some residue on the lower part of the inside area, and from there some on the wheel, just like Quintin's images.
