Truck is looking sweet! What did you do for prep work for painting your lower bumper valence Pat?

Pat - do you not have a front license plate? I keep looking at mine trying to figure out where I am going to put it after my bumper is painted and I haven't come up with anything.

Patrick, another question. If you don't come up with a grille for Pam, what do you think of a horizontal bar Lightning grille painted red along with the grille surround?

I sanded 200 then 320 then 400 and handed it off to my painter, he sealed, primed, painted, and cleared it :o

I have the plate its around here somewhere Alot of guys will put them in their windsheild as a compromise to being legal, allthough technically the window isnt legal, but its better then not being there at all.

I can get a lightning replica grill (with surround) through work, i might pick up one to play with. Im hoping to be able to go the junk yard next week.

Im very partial to the honeycomb look, but i can get the Lightning replica for half of what it would cost to do a patman grill.

Also Pam have you considered doing a 1/3 drop? Depending on which shackles i need for my truck, i might have my "JLP 2-3-4" shackles which could give you 3" drop, and ive got some lightning coils lying around that would drop the front 1" or a hair lower.

That sure would look good on those wheels. It would mean different shocks for the front tho, wouldn't it?

I am fine with either the 2" or 3" drop - whichever works out for you. I haven't ordered the shocks yet, as I've been kind of waiting to see what is actually going to happen with the drop. I think it would look good.

On the grill - can you show me a pic of the Lightning replica - I might be interested in that.
