I think it'll be a few years yet before they become contenders.

The Leafs are my No 2 team. I was disappointed when they were moved to the eastern conference.

And, The Pens just plain got beat. Quit your bellyaching about Crosby being held up. The NHL wanted the Pens to win, the refs were on the Pens side. AKA, all the goalie interference penalties in game 5 OVERTIME, and that WEAK hook that gave you guys a power play in game 6, when you were trying to catch up. They gave you all the breaks in the world, and the Pens got beat. Deal with it. Maybe your team learned something, and can climb the mountain next year.

Or Not.

Way To Go Wings!!

The Stanley Cup is OK after taking a tumble during the Red Wings’ celebrations in Detroit.

NHL spokeswoman Bernadette Mansur says Saturday the Cup got a slight dent Friday after some players took the trophy to Cheli’s Chili Bar, a downtown restaurant owned by Red Wings defenseman Chris Chelios.

Mansur says dent was smoothed out, and the trophy was expected to keep making the rounds.

Figures it was Chelios that had something to do with it. He can't even remember how to do a shift change anymore.

Didn't it fall of a balcony when Dallas had it, or which team was that? It was a few years ago now.

That was the Leafs. They're having a tough time working out that dent.

when pittsburgh won it in '92, it sat at the bottom of Mario Lemieux's swimming pool for 24 hours. The next day in the parade, it had to be situated a particular way to hide the rust and tarnish from the night before.

Kevin stevens threw it off the waterfall.

Maybe your Leafs will be better this coming season. Stars former player Nick Hagman is awesome!
