Use. Some. Punctuation.

Also, if diesel went up ".10 cents" that means it went up .1 of a cent, so stop whining or learn some basic math.

Im pretty sure the .1 you are thinking of is .001, or a tenth of a cent.

If im wrong, tell me. I have screwed around with math, well, at least not anything to do with numbers, since junior year in HS.

The reason i said .001 is, because is he using the decimal place where the first spot after is a tenth? Or is he using it like he would for a dollar? Because if its in a dollar, then the 3 place after then decimal would be 1/10th of a penny, correct?

What kind of math exactly are you using without numbers?

Regardless of the units:
0.1 = tenth
0.01 = hundredth
0.001 = thousandth

10 cents = $0.10 = a tenth of a dollar
1 cents = $0.01 = a hundredth of a dollar
.1 cents = $0.001 = a tenth of a cent = a thousandth of a dollar, you penny pincher

WOW... Let me add a bit to this GENIOUS post. Yahoo stock yesterday CLOSED at 28.17 and OPENED today at $28.13 and is CURRENTLY $28.18

So he is partially right. If you jumped on this first thing this morning when the markets broke you had the potential to be up .04% already this morning. Say you are the Shah of some oil rich Middle East country and you invested Billions this morning; you could potentially have made some decent money!!

Yahoo's day range has been $28.11 to $28.40... Moral of the story is: don't take investment advice from donyboy1!!
