My Landscape Transformation (56K Warning)

Well first a little background...
My Fiance and I bought our house in Nov. of '06. The landscape was tacky as all hell/non-existant. We got the concrete curbing poured last spring, and then didn't have the time/money to do anything with it. So I threw down some weed paper and mulch, and let it ride. Then it got cold and I couldn't plant anything.
Fast forward to this week. We got married Saturday and I took some of the money and finally bought some plants! After looking at an empty flower bed with nothing but mulch for almost a year it was long overdue. It really makes the house. It finally looks complete. It's nothing spectacular, but I'm proud of all the work I've done, so I thought I'd show it off (excuse the dirt on the lawn, I'm trying to revive some dead spots).
In chronological order...
This is what we started with. To say the least I was embarassed to call it my home.

After the curbing was poured, the walkway was removed, and that unnecessarily huge foundation for their flag pole was broken up and hauled out courtesy of my F150. Digging out all that grass sure was a bitch!

What I've been looking at for most of the last year.

And the finished product. It made a world of difference! It's amazing the results you can get with a few hundred dollars.

Time for a nap!

Holy cow, I just saw Mother Teresa, then she upped and vanished like a fart in the wind.

When I look back at those pictures I'm surprised I even went into the house sometimes.
I'm sure glad I did though, because it was hooked up inside.

I'm down with Jesus, just not prominently displayed in my front yard.

I think I'd feel bad throwing away something in reference to God.
