That brings back memories.

If memory serves, the kid had said multiple times he had a 500,000 mile F150 (mid '90s body style), and also stated multiple times that he had bought it not long before with 1xx,xxx on the odo.

A few calculations showed he needed to drive his F150 averaging like 94 mph 24/7 from the time he bought the truck to his first post about 500k.

I think he also talked about his oil changes, and the pesky quotes suggested he was changing his oil about every 33 hours on average.

After insisting multiple times he never told a fib and that he did have a 500,000 mile F150, he eventually admitted he was fabricating it all. But he wanted sympathy because he was young, his mommy was mean, he didn't know his daddy, his brother had the truck before him and he had just bought it from his brother like 3 weeks before, but he really really liked F150s.

Then the mods put the hammer down and erased all his posts.
