bord at work...

Well I am sitting here its 11pm at work and there is nothing to do. Like everyday I am protroling the forms of my favorite site. And nothing seems to be really going on. So lets get something going shall we. Right now I am over seas "fighting" for the great country of America!!!!! counting down the days till I get to come home. And when I get home, I will be in kind of a dilemma. My truck will be paid off this month, thanks to now having bills, and not paying any taxes well I have found a 2002 true Blue lightning with 87K for only $13,000. im thinking about selling my truck and buying this truck. but idk... I like the idea of keeping my truck, It has never given me any problems, and not having any bills, where I could save up and buy a lightning with a clean title outright.... give me your thoughts questions.... whatever... im board haha

Oh and i did search but i found nothing on the subj.... i tried haha im not funny

If you think the Lightning is a great deal and think you can swing the payments + full coverage insurance, then I'd say go for it.

These things have spell check? Hmm, I should probably start using that...
Anyways back to your idea. Here is my thoughts on it. If you have any debt c/c's, student loans, unpaid hookers ect I would pay all of those first and see what you have left over. If you don't have any of that then go ahead and do it, you work hard and sometimes you have to treat yourself to something nice you may want rather than need.

Why is the insurance so HIGH? Mine is $160 for a 20 year old on a 4x4 TURBO truck. No wrecks or tickets though.

Even though your diesel is turbo it is not a "Performance" truck. The lightning will have a higher premium because the truck was made for 1 thing; speed

Sorry, but as goofy as it sounds, the turbo qualifies it as a performance vehicle.

You have the classic "I have some money burning a hole in my pocket, and I wanna get something nice" syndrome. This is a fun thing, but could lead to buyer's remorse if you end up with payments and high insurance. What I would do is buy something that doesn't come with monthly payments, but is a whole lotta fun. What else are you into? Electronics? Computer? Guns? Quad? The longer you wait and drive that reliable truck with no payments, the better your financial status will be when you do get that new truck later.

PS -
Thank you for your service
