why doesnt anybody search anymore?

I've noticed recently that no one searches when they ask questions. It’s the same questions asked over and over. I think there needs to be a thing that makes people search for their answer before asking questions. It’s a waste of time and space so come on people; use that handy little button on the top of the site there.

If you have trouble with the search button , go to the F150online homepage.
There is a google search fearue there that works better!

I think Built54 got ya on this one, man it made me laugh so hard almost brought on a tear, almost like a lost little boy in the woods

but yeah I have to agree with ya, the chips and tuners section seems to be the worst that ive seen. I use the search alot, answers most of my questions so i rarely ever start a thread, just merely throw out my useless opinions (kinda just like this-lol)

I know some of the questions people ask just make you want to drive cross country and slap em haha but there are a lot of times when someone asks a question and people jump all over him when all they had to do is answer him or keep their comment to themselves. And I also laughed when I read what built54 said This question gets asked all the time and doesnt really seem to help. Come on, how bad does it actually bother you that someone asks a question that was just asked yesterday or two weeks ago? A simple "there was a thread on this a few days ago, if you look for it you will find some usefull info" or a "I can't help you but there is a search feature that could probably help you if noone else can".

Yep!

In all fairness, sometimes some terms get used so much you come up with a bunch of stuff that doesn't answer your question unless you want to spend hours wading through threads. Other times you can't find the correct specific term that finds them. So some people probably just get frustrated with looking during the search.

Now we need to decide the appropriate punishment for the original post.

i understand about too many results or not the exact answer but the threads ive seen is the exact questions asked earlier and an obvious lack of even trying to search

3. Why so many problems with Edge tuners
2. Can I use one tuner for two trucks

I can see asking a question if you cant find an answer, or if so many results come up you cant find what you were originally looking for. For the most part ill answer what questions I can, or at least throw out a useless opinion, but one thing we have to remember is that we have all done it, we cant deny it, we have all asked a question before doing a search and a search would have quickly brought our answer. So we cant laugh to hard

Searches take up valuable server bandwith.

So just keep on posting new threads about the same thing.
