I saw a Toyota pull off an amazing feat today!

I wish I had my camera in the truck today. I saw something completely amazing. I saw a Prius pulling a Pontiac Grand Am. The Prius had a tow strap attached somehow to underneath its rear bumper. I had to do a double take. That thing can't be designed to tow/pull that much. It was the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

Oh, I already know this thread is worthless without pics.

I would have to do a double take also. Those electric motors do put down some major Ft/Lb's of Torque though

Tons of fossil fuels are burned to make the electricity that move those trains. I don't care though, had to make that clear.

That is true but you would be surprised how efficient todays locomotives are.
The point was however that electric motors have great tourque.

I think the Prius' electric motors come from Bissel vacuum cleaners.

What an idiot.

Yesterday I saw a Dodge 2500 Cummins pulled over half way in the road still with his hazards on. I'm like what the hell is he doing. I get closer and I can hear him trying to start it. Clack Clack Clack - POP! Nothing ...
