People Suck!!!!!

Last nite i had to stop by the walmart after work to get eyedrops b/c i got hit in the eye yesterday doin yardwork.
So after we got off workl last nite my girlfriend and I went to the walmart around 1050pm. We got the eyedrops and a drink and i realized my phone had fallen off my clip b/c i broke my clip at work. Well my gf went outside to see if it had fallen off out there and i walked around the store to where i had been. No sign of the phone. My gf called my phone and two times it rang then went to my voicemail. Then after that it started goin straight to my voicemail.
So someone picked up my phone and turned it off. I checked customer service and no one turned it in. I called back this morning and no one had turned it in.
So i call verizon and they tell me someone had used my phone to send text messages. I had them temporarily suspend the service to my phone and when my new bill is ready i can find the number of the person who my phone was texted from.
It just really pisses me off that someone would pick up my phone and not turn it in. WTF is wrong with people. I can't believe people are so damn ignorant and then they even used my phone. I have over 200numbers in there and pictures and videos. I just want my phone back. Im glad i have insurance. When my bill is ready i will call the person who was texted so i can have some info on who has my phone! Sorry for the long post i just can't understand what the hell is wrong with people and why they have to take things that dont belong to them especially something so important.

I found a phone once, and after no small amount of trouble, returned it to the owner who as much as accused me of stealing it from her! Some people ...

yeh, if you look at your bill online it says who sent the text and who recieved it, time and date etc. Same way it keeps track of your calls and minutes. Only shows it online though. I have verizon, not sure what it does for others

I'm not gonna lie. I found a ONE dollar in walmarts self checkout where it returns your money. I kept it. Man I'm going to hell

I try to return things that have value or or things like phones, etc where people use them and have a lot of everyday use.

I've found a few things I was surely tempted to keep, but in the end.. the good ol' "what if it happened to you" guilt trip sets in.

My conscious keeps my honest. Damn it.

Heres a good story.

When I went on leave to go back home to watch my baby be born. My wallet fell out my back pocket assumingly into the seat I was in. Oblivious to this, I'm walking to my next gate. Now, I'm stationed in Kansas, and I am from Georgia. I'm at The Atlanta airport. I see a wachovia ATM, where this bank is only east coast. I think.. great.. I cant get some money with no ATM fee. I reach for my wallet... gone! I was near my boarding gate, so I go there and tell the customer service lady. She calls the gate I arrived at, and YES! They found my wallet. Said someone found it and turned it in. Nothing was missing or changed. So.. people do have good hearts. I had several credit cards, USAA, Best buy, amazon.. etc. All there. Most likely it was probably some punk kid looking for something free.

Reminds me of a story when I was 8 (late 80's) I was a disney with my family and I lost my wallet with $5 dollars in it. I was so upset because that was alot of money for a 8 year oldin the 80's. So about a week after being home from vaction a small package came in the mail to me and it had my wallet and $5 in it. I was so happy when I got it back, I was going to mail a letter to the person and thank them but it didn't have a return address.
