Driving with a broken vehicle...

While I was going to work today, I noticed a Plymouth Voyager going down the road and I look at the back as it passed me and the tires were like this:
|-------------/
Left Tire Right Tire
You could hear the bearings crunching and everything... not to mention it was trekking to the right... like the frame was bent or something. It was funny as heck to watch. It looked like the front was going straight and the rear was trying to make a right turn...

I was behind a vehicle a few weekends ago and i'm not sure what was wrong with it but the back passenger side wheel was wobbling lol. I don't understand why someone would want to drive a vehicle that is this kind of condition, it's a hazzard to them and everyone else on the road.

How about people that drive around with their license plates hanging down on one side because one bolt has come out? I would go crazy if I had to drive that crap.

Or, when someone gets a ding in the corner of their plastic rear bumper and they don't go in from behind and push it back out. Yeah, the paint is jacked, but at least you don't have the huge impression in the back. WTF people?

For something mechanical, I saw a vehicle traveling eastbound and all four wheels were facing eastbound, but the body of the car was facing southeast. Interesting sight.

A lot of people are ignorant and don't even realize they have a problem. Others simply don't care. Others can't afford to get it fixed and are driving it till it drops.

Really!

There is no annual inspection in the US?
I just got my truck inspected and nothing was wrong with it.
Well, only 2 lightbulbs.
Approved for another year.
If you fail the inspection, it has to be fixed first.

We don't have annual inspections on cars either, other than when they change ownership. On the other hand, get caught driving a vehicle in the same shape as the one described above and you're looking at an automatic trip to court, as well as a nice tow from where you were stopped.

great point, just because the laws are in place doesn't mean there are followed. most people will risk driving with exp tags and un inspected cars then go pay for the inspection.

Stop you guys.. some politician from washington state is going to read this and make inspections mandatory and use it as revenue... I don't need any more "taxs" I take care of my stuff.... I don't want the government telling me I have to get my vehicles checked.

That is scary, the govt should have yearly inspection laws set in place. That is just so unsafe.
