E150/Conversion van HELP

haaay guys. Doing some research for my bf, he's needing to buy a bigger animal than his Stang which will be going up for sale soon. He's starting his own business and bought a 2000lb trailer. How good are the E150's at towing? anyone know their max weight limit? he'll be hauling around a lot of equipment...

ive seen lots of them loaded down around town with mowing/lawn equipment.

Not to mention they are pretty popular among plumbers/cable/ any other home service men.

I dont know the exact specs on them but i know they are pretty tough

while the E150s are great running vans, I have one-I know, if he is going to be hauling around alot of equipmant in a 2000# trailor you may want to look into a E250 or E350. If he has the van + the trailor he will fill it up with as much stuff as he can, 150 may handle it but over time will do it in. 250 or 350 will handle alot better for alot of equipmant.

What kind of equipment is he hauling around. The weight of the trailor is no problem to be towed by either the E-150 or the F-150. Its the potential extra added weight to be added. If the trailor is maxed out and the van/truck is maxed out the weight can add up quick.
Side not-the only main differance between the F-150 and the E-150 is the body, other than that they are pretty similar in design and specs for towing. If he is hauling bunch of stuff but its not heavy then he will be fine, but if he has heavy equipmant that may pose the problem
