music from ipod to computer?

hey im looking for a ipod rip type program to get my music and vids from my ipod back to my computer because i just reformatted and afraid if i sync ill loose my music and vids on the ipod, i could care less if they were back on my computer

so whats a good program to do this?

I found a program at Office Depot called Tune Tools for iPod. It's made by valusoft. It was in the clearance bin, it was under $10.

I reformatted also, so I was in the same boat for awhile. This does exactly what you want.

there is a program called FLoola that you can get for free. just google it, that what i used before i got my mac

yeah i have a touch and i dont think you can do that anymore, i mean the new ipods cant even be used for disk use

Try a program called ephpod, I believe it will let you do it. I had to do it before and if I remember correctly that was the program I used.

my buddy uses a program called iPro (I'm pretty sure) that he just downloaded from google and its all drag and drop userfreindly interface, I'm not 100% sure on that name but I'll check (might be iDump)

It's IDump...and it works pretty good...and free..
