Boycott Exxon/Mobil

I personally do not use any more products from the most Greedy Corporation in History being Exxon/Mobil! I don't purchase their Gas or Oil products! If everyone did this they might finally listen to who really holds the Power & the Ol Mighty Buck! We the people!..............

I've been boycotting Exxon/mobil for years. My truck gets better mileage with Shell.

Who do you think owns ExxonMobil? Around half their stock is in pension funds and other institutional investments (such as mutual funds).

What non-greedy oil company are you buying from? Last I checked, they were all making big profits. I actually like to buy from ExxonMobil because they have the best engineers and engineering management.

Shell too uses foreign oil I think, alot of the major companies do, gotta find someone who uses domestic oil and stick it to the others.

For those that don't know, Shell is short for Royal Dutch Shell. It is primarily a British-Dutch company. At least Exxon is headquartered in the USA! Good luck finding a company that doesn't use foreign oil. Oil is a commodity!

I would never buy a thing from CITGO also!.......It is owned by Hugo Chavez......the Pigmy who disrespects the USA & our President! Whether you like Bush or Not you have to respect the office of the Presidency, no matter who is sitting in it! When Chavez disrespects the President he disresects me & everybody else who is a LEGAL citizen of the USA! Screw CITGO too, & Exxon Mobil! I use Shell gas exclusively now!................

I don't care. Shell gives me the best mileage compared to Exxon.

Sunoco and Shell give me the best mileage. Mobil was the worst for mileage but it was clean. I do use Citgo as well because it is next door to my neighborhood. It also gives better mileage than Mobil.

Citgo was around long before Chavez, and will be after him. Since 1979, Citgo has been helping to provide home heating oil to the elderly and poor. No American oil company does this type of program. This year, it cost Citgo over $100 million to help Americans that may have spent the winter freezing.

That should tell you a lot about who's doing what.

no kidding momalle. Chavez did that just to make the Bush administration look bad. Chavez isn't helping the poor because he is altruistic or he would be helping the poor in his own country.

Actually, I'm not, but I'm willing to call a spade a spade. I'm sorry if the facts don't help the Chavez bashing. How many billions did we grant US oil companies last year to study alternative fuels? Which of them pitched in?

bpciprez, did you actually read what I wrote? Were Bush and Chavez exchanging jabs in 1979? Maybe Boortz is right about the masses.

The heating oil distributed by Citizens Energy comes from Venezuela on a subsidized basis (which its been doing since 1979). Since Hugo Chavez took the reins of power in 1998, those donations, and the support of Kennedy’s charity, have had decidedly more political overtones.
