Klipsch make a nice set of computer speakers.

 

x2. I love my Klipsch computer speakers. Kids living 2 floors below me came up to my room one night because their windows were shaking. (having a small party). They sound awesome for music or gaming. Solid lows, crisp mids and clear highs.

Of course for gaming, a high quality pair of headphones/headset is the only way to go though.
