Went and picked up the last ton of pellets this morning, and who was sitting there? A nice shiny new Chevy 2500. What was he getting? 2 tons, still on the pallets! I asked if he was kidding or had some sort of fancy suspension set-up and he laughed, said no, and laughed at the fact we were getting 1 ton in the F150. I smiled, said good luck and walked over to watch. The owner of the company came outta the warehouse with the first ton, set it in the back and slid it all the way up to the cab. It held, only drooped ~ 2". They Chevy owner looked my way and snickered. Out comes ton #2... I swear to god I thought this thing was gonna blow the two rear tires and snap the leafs. That sumanabitch almost dropped far enough for the rear fenders to touch the tires!!! I snickered a lil and gave the Chevy guy the face.
Dad and I were 3/4 of the way thru loading the pellets (one bag at a time) into the F150 when Chevy guy comes back and asks to have the 2nd ton removed... seems as though it wasn't handling well and didn't trust it on his 10mi ride home! As dad and I finished up, we pulled ot of the lot and this time I gave Chevy boy the followed by the .
Idiots.

Seriously, all chevy ever had over ford was a little bit of speed. But who cares? A truck is a truck, not a stock car.

My brother has a 2000 with 4.8. It so lame. When we pull up in the same places, house, etc when we visit family. I laugh at him. His lil silverado 4.8L.

Not to metion hes in the airforce... but I'll stop there

IT'S JUST A JOKE GUYS....

The 4.8 is just as slow as the rock in which it's installed on.

I love my Ford but I wont turn my back against a Chevy or a dodge. A toyota or a nissan well i will rather push my ford then drive one of them!

I have a 2001 F250 with the snow plow package (everything else stock) that I used to put 2 pallets of salt (almost 5000#) in the back plus the plow on the front and it did great. I figured I was about 16k pounds all together.

But you're suspension is beefed up at least. This guy was running with bone stock suspension. When the leafs go straight, you know you've got too much... but, some ppl just don't care.
