A couple weeks ago Obama's website had dozens of videos under the "faith" section. Today he only has one.

The videos were all of Barack himself speaking... mostly at his church. After several of my close friends expressed support for Obama I decided to check him out for myself. I watched ALL the videos he had in his faith section at that time. I started off very skeptical, but quickly became very impressed. I kept watching and listening while making dinner and then eating it. But then something happened... in one of his later speeches he let his guard down and spoke from his heart instead of from the script. It was immediately apparent... the tone of voice and style of speech changed. Hate and vileness came from his mouth. It was ugly.

I'm trying to find a copy of it now. In that speech Barak Obama went on to blame the gun manufacturers for all the crime in black neighborhoods. It was the SAME KIND of hate filled, blame-shifting, conspiracy theorist rhetoric his own pastor spews.

More than half of ExxonMobil is owned by institutional investors (pension funds, mutual funds, 401Ks, etc).

I have met Big Oil, and they are us.

You do not have control of those funds and fat cats get fatter than the percentage you draw on those funds. True enough?

You have GOT to be kidding me. You best check out the record of the congress who last year made it illegal to drill for oil off our own shores. Check the local governments too, that do not allow refineries to be built. Here in Washington state, the fine (cough cough) democrat governor denied a refinery here to expand capacity. She also will not allow any more tankers per year than are allowed now. Meanwhile we grow in population. As was said, bug oil is owned by US!! They are publicly traded companies. If they were owned by an individual could you even begin to make your case. Get real dude.

No, that is not true at all. You really don't understand how business works do you? You see, they have this thing, called a board of directors. If you own enough stock you could be on the board. THEY decide how business is run. They have more stake in the company to do well because..... THEY PUT THERE OWN MONEY UP FOR RISK. Everyone ends up benifiting by there decisions if they are good ones. Everyone suffers if there is a bad decision. but they suffer more because they have the most risk (more stocks)

I'm not sure how you concluded that I'm expecting a "love fest".

I've been around for a couple years now. I don't think that I'm considered a kid anymore. I don't believe that there will ever be a "love fest" between the races. I don't think there will be a "love fest' for anyone. The only thing I'm talking about is civility.

The ignorance of our past is about the hatred whites had for blacks based on a bunch of lies. They were considered inferior. Our country has learned a lot over the years. We know that no one is inferior, especially as a result of their skin color. The whites that hung and beat blacks to death did so because they were ignorant. They felt justified, based on false information.

When racism becomes front page in this country, it stirs up a lot of emotions from our past. It brings out the ignorant hatred that people have. My concern is that there will be violence. I think that we've already got enough of that in our country without racial violence. It would be a step in the wrong direction.

People will discriminate based on a lot of different things. I know that's not going to stop. Hell, I discriminate for some reasons, like against people who don't work for a living. I don't care what color they are, if they don't work when they can, they're low lifes to me. Discriminating because of race helps nothing. There aren't convincing reasons to do so.

No, I don't think that there will ever be a love fest. I believe that we can imporve on civility. That's not being realistic?

Oh, you had it right in your mind, you just decided to play fair and give the guy the benefit of the doubt in writing. It is clear from his language he wouldn't give you the same respect.

That much is perfectly clear, and I bet Obama wouldn't be too far behind. He's trying to distance himself, but how far can he? He was a follower for two decades, and a seasoned politician never forgets anything, even if he says he does.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to say here, but I get the same dividend per share as anyone else. I also get the same capital appreciate per share as anyone else.
