I've gotten 19 mpg in my 00 Harley Davidson, but that wasn't until after I put true dual exhaust on it, 8 accel coils, put on the ported and polished aluminum intake manifold on, and cold air intake. With those mods I barely have to hit the gas to get it moving. Its all in the way you drive. On another note, I worked for a chevy dealership as of last year, and they don't get much over 20mps in their trucks, and the money chevy guys save with gas they end up spending on oil because their motors are leaking it out between oil changes or having to buy intermediate steering shafts (the list goes on) but you get my drift..
