im currently 17 but i'll be 18 by the time the next inauguration takes place and i'll get to live with whoever for the next 4 years with no say but still having to live with their laws.. and thus the American youth apathetic view to voting...
"meh why bother"
i would vote if I could and I don't agree with not voting cuz thats the democratic process but most people my age (at least the ones i know) don't care because it does'nt really seem that any real changes take place when we change out the people in charge

The debate between whether to label someone as conservative or liberal is pointless. What many call a conservative today, is really just a rebranded liberal of 70 years ago. What one might call a hardcore conservative, or even a libertarian, is really just a classical liberal.
All that matters is who is right and who is wrong.
Ron Paul, being so different from the norm of politics and extreme, has the unique ability to be really really right, and really really wrong. Most other candidates just fall into the category of crap. But Paul is different, which is why so many people throw so much weight behind him, without even fully considering hiw views.
Has anyone really considered his isolationist policy? Has that ever worked? We tried it as a new nation, when the world was in a colonial economy, and it didnt work then. Hell, if we had followed strict isolationist policies we would never have even gained independence!
Im not sure if RP is completely nuts, but there is a reason why no one but emotionally charged college students and bloggers supported him. He does have some good points though.
