Accumulation With A Minor Glaze Of Ice. Untreated Road Conditions
Will Be Difficult.
The Main Storm System Will Move Up From The Tennessee Valley
Today Into The Ohio Valley By Tonight. This System Will Spread A
Variety Of Wintry Precipitation Back Across The Entire Region
Later This Afternoon And Tonight.
The Mixed Precipitation Will Become Heavy This Evening And May Turn To Just Freezing Rain. If This Occurs...ice Accumulations Of 1" To 2" Will Likely Lead To Falling Tree Branches And Snapped Power Lines.
People Are Urged To Be Prepared For prolonged Power Outages. The
Freezing Rain Will Also Make Travel On Roads Impossible. If You Must Travel... Allow Extra Time To Reach Your Destination...let Someone Know Your Travel Plans And Carry A
Cellular Phone.
The Heaviest Precipitation Will Be Between 6 Pm And 2 Am. It Should
Change Back To Snow Early Wednesday With Some Minor
Accumulations.
A Winter Storm Warning Is Issued When Severe Winter Weather Is
Expected. Heavy Snow And/or Ice Will Cause Hazardous Driving
Conditions. If You Will Be Traveling In The Warning Area You
Should Choose An Alternate Route If Possible... Or You Should Use
