11pm to 7am here as well. I like it. Once you get use to the sleeping during the day it's pretty nice. You never miss anything besides drinking time. Never miss a football game or anything else on t.v. or evenings with your family / friends. Not sure what you do now, but you will like it once you graduate from the academy and get hired on.

I'm a detention officer at the local county jail.
