Motortrend March 2008 Issue.
I have in my hands the 2008 MotorTrend Mag March 2008 Issue., & it states that the 2009 F-150 Article which starts on page 68, the 5.4 3v engine., makes a whopping 310HP & 365 pounds,Ft. of torque! Granted I realize that HP is not entirely responsible for a great truck but come on! My 2007 5.4 3v with my Roush Exhaust according to Roush is good for extra 10HP's for a grand total of 310HP. Torque is the same! I truly was expecting for from FoMoCo with the new Dodge Hemi & Toyota at 380 HP's........

There was a big discussion about this a few days ago, everybody pretty much decided MT's numbers are garbage because torque is already 365 on the current 5.4
I read somewhere that the engine will have "torque numbers similar to Dodge and Toyota's larger v8 engines"..So if that is true, torque should be around 400. No clue on horsepower.

Whole last page is about the Motor Trend article being false. Nothing to be concerned about
