Oh yeah I also carry this when I'm at the office. It's a CRKT 5500 Tanto KISS. Nice and small, only about 3.5" when closed.

 

I love my kershaw, but love the tactical style of my CRKT's and gerber too. The spyderco's are designed by women for women - which is why you won't see too many men carrying them.......unless they drive bmw's.

You obviously know nothing about knives. Yes, Spyderco does work with 1 or 2 female knife makers. Some of their designs are among the best in the world. The Police Model is one of the most highly produced models, and one of the best. Cops all over the country swear by them.


And another one of their most sought after models is the Bob Terzuola.

Well, there were a TON of guys I served with in the Marines that carried them and they were very nice knives of very good quality. And most Marines can't afford BMW's. In fact many who carried were Bubba's and drove their pickup trucks...lots of em Fords.

I'm sure there are people who like them. I know a few firemen who all wear CRKT on the job and my Marine buddies all have gerbers like my fairbairn. I went to a gun and knife expo and visited the spyderco booth. The rep told me they were designed to appeal to a female market. I think they're a bit pricey for what you get, hence the BMW comment. And BMW's, being european, are well known for holding up over time - which is my similiar opinion of spyderco's. Sorry if you have/like spyderco, my fiance does too...
