2009 Ford Flex - Yes or No?
the brushed strip across the back looks great.
It looks too cheap... heck, all new cars look too cheap for what they are worth...
Where's the wood, chrome, and leather!?
I hate how my F150's 3/4 plastic.
I want to do a wood, chrome, and leather mod with real teac wood, chrome, and leather on the interior. Probably cost some serious $$ to convert it.

So would you buy this? Yes or No? I'm a big fan, a big YES for me!

All in all the FLEX is a very well built purpose vehicle. It gets better mileage than the Tahoe Hybrid and hauls the same number of people, too.
It is loaded to the gills in cool features, is spacious, and comfortable. It also rides well. I also think the styling is unique, but in a good way. It reminds me of an old school "woody."
I think this will bode well for Ford in filling the intended niche.

Trucks as family haulers was the BEST thing to happen to the segment. It made the manufactures pay AS MUCH attention to the inside as they do the outside (as it should be with any vehicle).
Well lets wait & see how many of em end up on the streets. We have a big Ford dealer down the road from us but as yet I have not seen a single one on the road. I looks a bit like a stretched Range Rover to me.
Are you serious?! Please slap yourself. Entry-level ½-ton pickups are more capable than ever before. Configured correctly they are capable of towing rediculous amounts and payloads are well beyond their ½-ton designation. Year after year manufactures make improvements to best each other. But you're right, those silly manufactures don't care about capability.
